About

This site presents studies of the Qur’an’s words, style and themes: the full Arabic text on every page, an English translation, and links to Quran.com.

Sources

The Arabic text and word counts come from the Quranic Arabic Corpus data. The English translation of the ayaat is by Abdullah Yusuf Ali (1934), text via Tanzil.net. Explanations and notes are editorial.

Classification

Topics, groupings and linguistic distinctions follow classical lexicographers and commentators; where scholars differ, the pages say so.
